‘Introduction to Keyfund’ training qualifies you as a Keyfund Facilitator and a member of the Keyfund network. Once you have attended you can add the Keyfund process to your youth work toolkit to enhance the work that you are already doing with Young People.
To access Keyfund via the Regional Youth Work Unit, you must work with young people aged between 11 and 25 who live in the North East and are engaged with, or wish to be engaged with, the Regional Youth Work Unit's designated programmes. These are currently North East Youth Network, Truth About Youth, NE-Generation and somewhereto_

To become a Keyfund Facilitator you must:
• work or volunteer for an organisation that has a safeguarding policy, risk assessment procedure, equal opportunities policy, child protection policy, health and safety policy and public liability insurance.
• have an enhanced CRB clearance within the last 3 years.
• pay £35 per year Keyfund membership.
Keyfund membership benefits include:
• Access to money for Young People who develop the 12 Keyfund Skills
• Use of the Keyfund process to enhance the work that you do with Young People and develop the 12 Keyfund Skills
• Access to Keyfund resources via the Keyfund website
• Receipt of Keynotes, Keyfund’s quarterly news letter
• The opportunity to attend Keyfund events
• The opportunity to attend future training events
• Help and support from the Keyfund Team
• Access to a network of Keyfund Facilitators and Community Panel Members in your area to sit on your panels and share best practice.
This course costs £85 per participant from a voluntary organisation and £105 per participant from a public or private organisation plus £35 per year for your Keyfund membership.
