Licensees
Last year Keyfund worked with over 6000 young people and this year we’re on target to reach even more. We can only do this by working in partnership with other organisations who really understand the needs of young people.
We do this by operating a Social Licensing model which enables young people to fulfil their potential and, in so doing, make a contribution to the impact, strategic growth plans, and financial resilience of our licensee partners.
Keyfund licensees - key facts
• Licences may be for a geographical area or specific beneficiary group. They are for a minimum duration of two years and have a standard fee attached.
• Licensees receive training, structured support, marketing materials, bespoke databases and impact monitoring systems, knowledge, resources, access to expanding local networks, access to strategic fundraising support and leverage for attracting local ‘pot’ money with regional and national matched funds.
• Renewing licensees unlock the ability to generate unrestricted funds through the licensed delivery of Keyfund training courses.
• All licensees benefit from being part of something bigger. As Keyfund, licensees, facilitators and young people innovate, best practice examples are tested, packaged and shared with the whole network.
• By partnering with Keyfund, Licensees are enabled to diversify their income streams, raise their profile, increase internal efficiency, evidence their impact and add value to their current service delivery.
How does an organisation become a licensee?
Keyfund is looking for additional licensees who have:
• a genuine organisational fit with the Keyfund ethos and values;
• experience of working in / with deprived communities and disadvantaged young people;
• the ability and desire to support a 40+ network of facilitators;
• financial and organisational stability;
• a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement and are used to working towards specified goals.
We hold two formal recruitment rounds per year when organisations can submit applications and go through our due diligence process.
