Facilitators
Keyfund is a membership organisation and our members are called Keyfund Facilitators.
Anybody that works with young people can become a Keyfund member and use the Keyfund process to enhance the work that they are already doing with young people but we do have some joining criteria.
To become a Keyfund Facilitator you must…
- work or volunteer for an organisation that has a safeguarding policy, risk assessment procedure, equal opportunities policy, child protection policy, health and safety policy and public liability insurance.
- have an enhanced CRB clearance within the last three years.
- attend Introduction to Keyfund training and pay £35 per year membership.
Facilitators are the lifeblood of Keyfund. They are the frontline deliverers of the Keyfund process and the ones who hold the relationships with the young people.
Facilitators should…
- share experiences and exchange ideas at a national, regional and practitioner level.
- support other facilitators by offering advice and guidance and by sitting on panels wherever possible.
- support their local network and value the work of other members.
- promote Keyfund, its quality and its values.
To become a Keyfund Facilitator all you need to do is find the Introduction to Keyfund training course you would like to attend and sign up online. Click here to see what Training courses are available.
