Fun had by all at the Accenture Family Fun Day!
Article by Rossie Ashton
Despite the showers, Keyfund brought sunny smiles to lots of families' faces as they came along to enjoy Accenture’s Family Fun Day last August 27th in Jesmond. Accenture had kindly offered Keyfund to put on some stalls and activities, so despite our small team we managed to rope in friends, family and volunteers to create enough stalls worthy of a traditional village fete.
Favourites included the Coconut Shy (in Keyfund colours of course!), Splat the Rat, Hook a Duck, Garden Darts and Guess the Weight of a humongous sweetie jar! And of course every fete needs a homemade lemonade stall. Anna’s delicious sweet treat was on the same stall as the hugely popular Decorate a Gingerbread Person. As promised, the winners are displayed below – we struggled to whittle it down to 10 so check below to see if yours made it to the final 11 (although every one was a winner as far as we were concerned!).
Not only did we raise helpful funds, but also made lots of new Keyfund friends and had a great time. Thanks go to Fit Camp North East, La Gabbia, Monkeyprint, Newcastle Greyhound Stadium and The Cluny for their generous support with raffles prizes and to Greggs for supplying all the Gingerbread men. And of course a big Thank You to Accenture!
