Hello, I’m Hannah. I’ve been running Keyfund since early 2005. I love it because I get to use my business head and my passion for developing young people, at the same time. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the most amazing pro-bono experts, covering wildly different specialist areas. Each have helped me and the Keyfund team to build this focussed, savvy and forward thinking organisation.
My inner geek has lead Keyfund to be ahead of the pack in finding innovative ways to both prove and improve the impact Keyfund and our stakeholders have on young people engaged in Keyfund activities. This information drives our strategic decision making.
The team here are brilliant and we love seeing all our hard work pay off. We have big ideas for Keyfund’s future. We want to make sure Keyfund stays relevant, flexible and accessible for young people, enabling thousands more to make the most of their lives each year.
5 things you probably didn’t know about me
• I’m a huge Bolton Wanderers fan and even have a season ticket.
• I play in a ten-pin bowling league and my team is called 'Delta Force'
• I Chair the North East and Cumbria Audience Council for the BBC Trust, reviewing output, strategy and feeding back views of licensee fee payers
• I won a sumo wrestling competition in primary school (and nicknamed myself the 'tug boat’)
• I once caught a seagull with a crabbing line
